WHAT A DAY FOR PICKLEBALL!
The Pembroke Pickleball Club Tournament Mixer, held on August 29, 2026, at Chapeau Arena, was an absolute smash!
With 48 players, 24 teams and four competitive brackets, the courts were filled with exciting rallies, friendly competition, laughter and great sportsmanship.
Our Pembroke players were joined by friends from Petawawa, Killaloe, Chapeau, Deep River and Eganville, showing just how pickleball continues to bring players and clubs across the Valley together.
One of the best parts of the day was seeing players with different levels of tournament experience come together. For some, it was their first-ever tournament — a chance to experience the excitement, nerves and fun of tournament play. For others, it was an opportunity to share their experience, encourage newer players and enjoy another day of competitive pickleball sometimes with a partner they were meeting for the first time.

🌟 A NEW OPPORTUNITY AT EQUINOX!
We are pleased to announce that the Club has been approved to schedule Wednesday evenings at Equinox!
This is an exciting opportunity for the Club made possible because of our new incorporation. However, the design of programming, costing for members, scheduling and how the space will be used will all require further Board consideration.
Please be patient as we work through this new opportunity. There are many details to consider before start-up, and the need for dedicated volunteers will be essential to supporting programming at this location.
Stay tuned as we explore and pilot this exciting new opportunity! It is important to note that this opportunity must be applied for annually and is therefore not guaranteed as a permanent space for the Club in future years.
Before programming begins at Equinox, plans for volunteer support and operations will be developed to ensure we are ready to successfully use this new space.
