Yearly Due

  • Full Membership: $200 SOLD OUT
  • Partial Membership: $150 SOLD OUT
  • Part Time Membership: $100 SOLD OUT
  • Full Year Part Time: $120 SOLD OUT
  • Summer Membership: $70
  • Outdoor Membership: $25
  • Indoor Drop Ins: $7 per session (paid by e-transfer prior to play, note further restrictions are listed on Membership Information sheet)
  • Outdoor Drop Ins: $2 per session (paid by cash at time of session)

Membership Policy

What defines a member at the PPC?
A member of the PPC must have the following according to PPC bylaws:
  1. Membership in Pickleball Ontario and Pickleball Canada.
  2. Have completed registration, signed off on included policies, new member orientation and paid the PPC membership.
  3. PPC membership is not transferable.
  4. PPC Membership dates are included in the membership categories.
PPC Membership Definitions and Voting Rights:
FULL MEMBERSHIP
  • Is a voting member of the PPC
  • Full memberships are limited by capacity and defined by the Board
  • Has registered and paid their full membership fees. Preference will be given to those renewing memberships before offering to a new applicant
  • Includes 12 months of indoor play
  • Access and use of club’s outdoor equipment and balls at Kinsman courts for club use(during outdoor season)
  • During the prime time months of September, October, November, December, January, February, March and April, “Full Members” can play 1 indoor session per day
  • During off prime time months of May, June, July and August, “Full Members” can play 2 indoor sessions per day and a maximum of 6 indoor sessions per week
  • Members that are still in the workforce and unable to attend weekday sessions will be allowed to play 2 indoor sessions per day on weekends
PARTIAL MEMBERSHIP
  • Is a voting member of the PPC
  • Partial memberships are limited by capacity and defined by the Board (winter, summer)
  • Has registered and paid their partial membership fees. Preference will be given to those renewing memberships before offering to a new applicant
  • Includes nine months of indoor play ( members can select the 3 month sequence they would like blacked out)
  • Access and use of club’s outdoor equipment and balls at Kinsman courts for club use (during outdoor season)
  • During the prime time months of September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, “Partial Members” can play 1 indoor session per day (Note that for “Partial memberships” 3 months are in a blackout period, meaning you are not allowed to play in the blackout period)
  • During off prime time months of May, June, July and August, “Partial Members” can play 2 indoor sessions per day and a maximum of 6 indoor sessions per week
PART TIME MEMBERSHIP
  • Is a voting member of the PPC
  • Part time memberships are limited by capacity and defined by the Board
  • Has registered and paid their part time membership fees. Preference will be given to those renewing part time membership before offering to a new applicant
  • Includes 9 months of indoor from September 1 to May 31
  • Access and use of club’s outdoor equipment and balls at Kinsman courts for club use (during outdoor season)
  • Limited to 2 indoor sessions per week on separate days during weekdays only
FULL YEAR PART TIME MEMBERSHIP
  • Is a voting member of the PPC
  • Full year part time memberships are limited by capacity and defined by the Board
  • Has registered and paid their full year part time membership fees. Preference will be given to those renewing their full year part time membership before offering to a new applicant.
  • Includes 12 months of indoor
  • Access and use of club’s outdoor equipment and balls at Kinsman courts for club use (during outdoor season)
  • Limited to 2 indoor sessions per week on separate days during weekdays only
SUMMER MEMBERSHIP
  • Is a voting member of the PPC
  • Summer memberships are limited by capacity and defined by the Board.
  • Has registered and paid summer membership fees. Preference will be given to those renewing their summer membership before offering to a new applicant
  • Includes 3 months of indoor (June 1 – September 1) Limited to 1 indoor session per day
  • Access and use of club’s outdoor equipment and balls at Kinsman courts (during membership period May 31 – September 1)
OUTDOOR MEMBERSHIP
  • Is a non voting member
  • Has registered and paid for outdoor membership. Preference will be given to those renewing their outdoor membership before offering to new applicant
  • Access and use of club’s equipment and balls at Kinsman courts (during outdoor season)
  • Indoor play is excluded from this membership
DROP INS
  • Is a non voting member
  • Drop ins are permitted to sign up to outdoor sessions and thus have access and use of the club’s equipment and balls, sign up is to be done within 48 hours of the session and only permitted to play if session is undersubscribed
  • Drop ins are permitted to sign up to indoor sessions on the day of the session and only if the session is undersubscribed Note: Indoor drop ins need to be registered with Pickleball Canada and Pickleball Ontario, signed PPC waivers/policies and reviewed the “New Member Orientation” on our website

MEMBERSHIPS FEES are set by the Board yearly unless fee increases are more than 10%.

Membership FAQs

It is necessary to register with Pickleball Canada and Pickleball Ontario, their fee is separate from the PPC membership fee. You will also be required to sign a mandatory waiver from PPC. See “Membership Options” page for further details

Yes, just request that your name gets put on our membership waitlist

No we do not accept cash, the preferred method of payment is by e-transfer to pembrokepickleball@gmail.com if you are unable to make
payment by e-transfer we will accept a cheque

There are a limited amount of membership types available, if the one you want is no longer available you need to select one that best suits and is still available

Yes you can still play as a drop in however there are conditions, they are as follows:
  • You can only sign up to the session you are interested in on the day of the session if it is undersubscribed
  • You will be required to pay the $7 fee by e-transfer prior to playing
  • You need to be a current member of Pickleball Ontario and Pickleball Canada
  • You need to sign off on PPC waivers, and the “New Member Orientation” that can be found on our website in the “New Members” section

The outdoor courts are located at Kinsmen Park Pembroke, the indoor courts are located at Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle, 34 Jordan Ave. Pembroke

You will be rated at one of your first sessions by member evaluators

Typically there are beginner sessions on Saturday’s however this is dependent on the amount of new member intake. Note: you must become a member prior to joining these sessions
